Workshop Overview

Research shows that learning a second language is linked to overall better cognitive function, including better memory, enhanced creative and abstract thinking, and overall improved verbal abilities. Plus, being able to speak a second language provides greater access to other peoples and cultures.

But learning a new language is not easy! And increasing your vocabulary beyond where it is now takes a lot of effort and practice. In our Foreign Language Workshop, students of all ages and skill levels will build their vocabulary, refine their conversational skills, and learn about other cultures. Beginners will build up their conversational skills to get around town, talk about food, and get to know people in a second language. Intermediate speakers will continue to build their vocabulary in various domains. And advanced speakers will continue their efforts towards fluency status. Whether you’re hoping to learn Spanish, Mandarin, or Korean, our expert and fluent tutors can help!
