Workshop Overview
The personal statement is a student’s chance to speak directly to the admissions committee. It’s your chance to shine and persuade the committee that you are an outstanding fit for their program. While there is no one right way to write a personal statement, there are many factors that go into crafting a strong and compelling case for acceptance. And many schools require students to respond to unique prompts, which force students to draft many distinct personal statements.
With many of the top schools in the country selecting 15% or less of applicants, every aspect of a student’s application must be in pristine order to be considered. Hodis Learning & Music’s Personal Statement Workshop will teach your student how to write a strong personal statement and will guide your student throughout their brainstorming and drafting process. Students will come away from the workshop with at least one ready-to-submit personal statement and the skills to draft other successful personal statements on their own.
